Skier Urs Imboden, who represents Moldova, had a good performance at the Alpine Skiing World Cup that brought together the best slalom skiers of the world. The 35-year-old athlete ranked 11th in the slalom event held in the German town of Garmisch Partenkirchen on Sunday, March 14, Info-Prim Neo reports.
In the general individual rankings, Imboden takes the 62nd position with 11.5 points, while in the world slalom rankings – the 18th spot
This season, Imboden took part in nine world skiing competitions. His best result was the seventh place in the race in Adelboden, Switzerland.
At the Olympic Games in Vancouver, Urs Imboden had bad luck. He abandoned the competition during the first downhill race.
