The Embassy of the United States in Chisinau accepted in principle to assist the National Anticorruption Center in investigating the stealing committed at three banks, but the cooperation hasn’t been yet formalized, IPN reports, quoting Radio Free Europe.
At the request of Radio Free Europe, the Embassy specified: “We met with officials of the National Anticorruption Center and discussed a possible cooperation in the investigation in the banking sector. We asked for an official request for initiating such cooperation. We are still waiting for such a request.”
