The “Our” Party headed by Renato Usatyi enters the campaign preceding the June 14 local general elections. The party’s candidate for the post of mayor general of Chisinau is the deputy chairman of the “Our” Party Ilian Casu, IPN reports.
Ilian Casu said the municipality of Chisinau faces big problems and he, together with a team of professionals, will make sure that the city is clean, that the parking places are marked and that there are enough playgrounds. They will also set up shelters for dogs without masters. These are the key problems that the City Hall must deal with. They will also ensure the rule of law in the municipality and a constant dialog with the residents of the city because these are taxpayers and should thus take part in decision-making.
The candidate said he will eliminate the practice of stopping up the roads instead of repairing them appropriately. He will propose clear-cut strategies for reforming the sectors, like the public transport one, and for conserving the city’s historical center.
The “Our” Party will also field candidates for posts of mayor and local councilor in settlements, who will be presented soon.
