The Moldova State University (USM) and “V.N. Karazin” National University of Ukraine will organize joint programs of study. The two institutions signed a cooperation agreement on Wednesday at the Ministry of Education and Research, IPN reports.
The Ministry noted that the agreement provides for the development of joint programs of study in various fields, including computer science, educational sciences, management, marketing, public finance and international law.
These programs, which will include master’s studies, will be subject to external evaluation in the Republic of Moldova so as to ensure academic standards. In addition, the agreement facilitates academic mobility by allowing students and faculty members to study or work for a semester at the partner university.
Students will be able to attend courses at the partner university to accumulate the necessary credits, and the obtained credits and grades will be recognized by both institutions.
“This cooperation aims to strengthen the educational ties between the two universities and offer new learning opportunities for students and teachers,” said the Ministry of Education and Research.
