Valeriu Ciuperca joins Russian Premier League

Moldovan footballer Valeriu Ciuperca has signed a 3.5-year contract with FC Krasnodar, currently ranked 9th in the top echelon of the Russian football system, Info-Prim Neo learned from the Russian club's website. The 19-year-old played for Academia UTM Chisinau for the last three seasons, scoring 4 goals in 14 National Division matches in the last one. Ciuperca played for national under- teams before debuting for Moldova in August in a friendly with Cyprus. At FC Krasnodar, Ciuperca will join another Moldova national squad player, Igor Picusciac.
