Vlad Filat and Valeriu Lazar awaited in Parliament

MP Igor Dodon, who heads the group of the Socialists, asked inviting Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Valeriu Lazar and the administration of the National Energy Regulatory Agency to Parliament so that they provide information about the signing of contacts for the supply of electricity to Moldova. Unaffiliated lawmaker Mihai Godea said Prime Minister Vlad Filat should be also questioned on the same topic, Info-Prim Neo reports. Gas Natural Fenosa signed a new contact for the supply of power with the Cuchurgan Power Plant. Under the contract, Moldova will be supplied with electricity at the price of 6.9 cents per kilowatt-hour, up 13.2% from the previous price. The two state-owned power distribution networks – RED Nord and RED Nord-Vest – have not yet signed new contracts. The company Energocom continues the negotiations with the Cuchurgan Power Plant and other suppliers in their name.
