Vlad Filat: Moldova will benefit from largest volume of Czech assistance

Next year Moldova will benefit from the largest volume of Czech assistance, Prime Minister Vlad Filat said on his return from the Czech Republic. In Prague, the Premier was assured that Moldova is among the top five countries with which the Czech Republic intends to strengthen the cooperation relations, Info-Prim Neo reports. Vlad Filat said that while in Prague, he had meetings with his Czech counterpart Petr Nečas, chairman of the Senat Milan Štěch, chair of the Chamber of Deputies Miroslava Němcová, and other officials. He invited the Czech Premier to Chisinau and he accepted the invitation. “We had a discussion on Moldova’s European integration as the Czech Republic is Moldova’s supporter in this process. This unconditional support was reiterated and we will thus continue to enjoy the Czech Republic’s assistance,” said the Premier. He also said that they signed three important documents aimed at strengthening the relations between Moldova and the Czech Republic – two agreements on cooperation in social protection, healthcare and medical sciences and a protocol of cooperation on the readmission of people staying illegally. Vlad Filat paid an official visit to the Czech Republic during November 29-30, at the invitation of his Czech counterpart Petr Nečas.
