Vlad Filat to make working visit to Brussels March 14

Acting Prime Minister Vlad Filat will pay a working visit to Brussels on March 14. He will take part in the Summit of the European People’s Party where he will speak about the political situation in Moldova, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the Government’s press service, the event will involve European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso, President of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, heads of state and prime ministers of the European countries that represent the European people’s family. Vlad Filat will also take part in the talks on the creation of a Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area between Moldova and the European Union that will be held in Brussels on March 11-15. He will have a series of meetings with officials of the European commissions.
