Vlad Plahotniuc hopeful local elections will bring political crisis to an end

First Deputy Speaker, Democrat MP Vlad Plahotniuc voiced hope that the local elections in the municipality of Chisinau will help overcome the political situation and will improve the economic situation in the country, Info-Prim Neo reports. As in the parliamentary elections of November 2010, Vlad Plahotniuc went to vote alone. “I got used to the status of public person. I think my family should not do it yet,” he explained. Vlad Plahotniuc said he voted for the country’s future, a balance in society, welfare and a responsible political force with common sense. “I voted for progress,” said the politician. The First Deputy Head of Parliament walked to the polling place as he lives 300 meters away. Vlad Plahotniuc will be waiting for the results of the elections alongside his party colleague.
