The Communist Party head Vladimir Voronin said that his party conducted negotiations with the Democratic Party (PDM) and the Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM). According to the politician, in the talks both of the parties pleaded for early legislative elections, IPN reports.
Vladimir Voronin said that the last meeting with representatives of the PDM took place on May 29. “But, it seems that they want to remain in power for a longer period of time,” he stated, adding that the new Government will not be better than the previous one.
Referring to the fact that the Liberals headed by Mihai Ghimpu will move to the opposition, the Communist leader said that Ghimpu should draw conclusions after being removed from power.
The Communists will not vote for the new Government, but delegated representatives to work in the commission for electing the Speaker.
