The leader of the Party of Communists Vladimir Voronin said the invested Government will not manage to do something because it is formed not of professionals, but of people selected according to party criteria, who will do nothing else but fulfill orders. In the talk show “Fourth power” on N4 TV channel, Vladimir Voronin said the ministers must know how to deal with the problems faced by the ordinary people, but they do not know how, as the members of the previous Governments, of the past five years, didn’t know, IPN reports.
“This Cabinet is worse than the previous ones. These ministers are no way better,” said the Communist leader. He noted that not even the billions provided by the foreign partners will help them remedy the situation in Moldova. “If the Gaburici Government kept for 103 days, this Cabinet will keep until the first rain with hail.”
Vladimir Voronin criticized especially the Liberal ministers, saying these don’t care about the national interests and promote only unionism and are now glad that they got these posts. The current rulers mislead the people and the people believe them and still vote for them.
On July 30, Parliament gave a vote of confidence to the Government headed by Valeriu Strelet. The Cabinet was invested by the votes of 52 MPs of the Liberal Democratic Party, the Democratic Party and the Liberal Party. The MPs of the Party of Socialists and the Party of Communists voted against, while unaffiliated lawmakers Iurie Leanca, Eugen Carpov and Nicolae Juravschi abstained.
