The voters can lodge applications to ask to be allowed to cast their ballots at the place of residence from May 23 until June 4 inclusive, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communique from the Central Election Commission. Under the electoral legislation, the persons who are unable to go to the polling place for health or other reasons can ask to be allowed to vote through the mobile ballot box. The voters can start to submit applications two weeks before the voting day until 6pm of the day preceding the election day. On the election day, the applications can be filed until 3pm, but they must be accompanied by the health certificate. Only the persons with visual impairments can make oral requests to be allowed to vote at the place of residence. The mentioned persons vote on the basis of special electoral rolls drawn up by the electoral office of the polling place. The local general elections will take place on June 5.
