Votes cast in November 28 elections will be recounted

The Constitutional Court ordered recounting the votes cast in the November 28 early legislative elections, after examining the application submitted by the PCRM. The Court argued that the voting reports were compiled incorrectly and did not match the voting reports scanned from the Central Election Commission's website, Info-Prim Neo reports. CEC president Eugeniu Stirbu said the decision when to start the vote recount will be taken in an extraordinary meeting. The PCRM's jurist Sergiu Sarbu stated that what happened will be a serious lesson for the electoral authorities. Most of the violations were committed before the ballots were put in the ballot box. “If multiple voting is proven, the PCRM will demand invalidating the results of the November 28 parliamentary elections,” he said.
