War veterans to receive financial assistance from population support funds

The war veterans will benefit from lump sum payments on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the Iasi-Chisinau Operation, which is officially called in Moldova “the liberation from the German-Fascist occupation”, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to a communiqué from the Ministry of Social Protection, Family and Child, about 400 veterans will receive by 500 lei from the national and local population support funds. The money will be disbursed until August 21.
