The U.S. Embassy in Chisinau joins the Americans from all over the world in celebrating the Independence Day that is the most important holiday of the nation. The holiday commemorates the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, declaring independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain.
In his speech during the ceremony at the embassy, William Moser underlined the importance of individual freedom. “Some say that in order to have a powerful nation, the personal freedoms must be restricted.
