“We all realize that we go through a period during which the reasonable consumption of electrical energy and heat energy is essential, especially during the peak time, between 7am and 10am and between 6pm and 11pm,” said the official.

The website contains the Government’s plan for preparing for the 2022-2023 heating season, which aims to reduce gas consumption by 15% nationwide, and also information about the state subsidies that will be provided through bills, the way in which an application can be submitted and how energy can be saved by investing in new technology.

As from October 11, the Republic of Moldova has been fully supplied with electricity by the Kuchurgan power plant. Moldovagaz additionally allocates 0.9 million cubic meters of gas to the plant for generating the electric power needed for 24 hours. Earlier, Moldova received 30% of the necessary electricity from Ukraine.
