Wholesale market in Palanca

A wholesale market may be set up in Palanca village, Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry Vasile Bumacov announced in a meeting with a group of local farmers. The minister said there are a number of possibilities enabling the farmers to sell their products. “I told them about projects, opportunities and how they can benefit from them, the subsidies and other possibilities in agriculture,” the minister has told Info-Prim Neo. According to Vasile Bumacov, the lack of information is the most serious problem faced by the farmers. “We plan to open a wholesale market, but need investments and it is now early to develop this subject,” he said. The Ministry of Agriculture is to identify investments for this project, while the local administration will find a place for the market.
