The woman colleague of the female cashier who was killed in the June 8 robbery in central Chisinau is suspected of complicity in murder and theft. The information was confirmed for IPN by deputy prosecutor of the Centru Prosecutor’s Office Oleg Afanasii.
An arrest warrant for 15 days was issued against the women. The police haven’t yet identified the murderer.
The killed woman was 43. She died asphyxiated with her own blood when she was hit powerfully in the face. The attacker stole the bag with national and foreign currencies to the value of 700,000 lei that the woman was to deposit in a safe.
