A woman aged 59 who was set free based on amnesty for a crime of which she was convicted in 2018 was detained the same day for an offense committed in the autumn of 2015. She faces now five to ten years in jail, IPN reports.
The General Police Inspectorate said that the woman in 2018 was sentenced to six years and eight months in jail for murder. She was released on February 23 as she was amnestied in 2022. The same day she was detained for a crime committed eight years earlier after the Dondușeni Prosecutor’s Office resumed the investigation into an older case following the obtaining of relevant information.
In order to take revenge, the woman physically attacked a man aged 31 with a knife. She stabbed him in the thorax, endangering his life and health.
On the night of September 28, 2015, as a result of a resumed conflict, the woman caused the victim’s death. She was sentenced for murder and served her sentence in Penitentiary No. 7 Rusca.
The woman was placed under judicial control.
