A woman from Causeni was sentenced to 13 years in jail for attempting two times to kill her child who is incurably ill, IPN reports.
According to prosecutors, the first murder attempt was made in March 2011, when the child was only one month. The woman went out with the child and pushed the carriage with the baby towards the wheels of a car going along the road near Plop-Stiubei village. The impact was avoided as the driver managed to brake in time.
When the child was four months, the woman repeated the attempt. At midnight, she threw the child under the wheels of a car. The driver managed to avoid the accident this time again.
The 32-year-old woman has one more minor child. She led an amoral life and drank alcohol. At the request of the Causeni Prosecutor’s Office, the woman was deprived of her parental rights. The children were placed in a specialized center.
The prosecutors so far this year filed 450 civil lawsuits in the interests of minors and socially deprived persons.
