Woman jumps from balcony in Telecentru

A Chisinau woman jumped out of her balcony on the 2nd floor. It is still unknown what the cause of this suicide attempt is. The police are investigating the case, while the woman is receiving treatment in the Emergency Hospital, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the managing doctor of the Chisinau Emergency Service Eufalia Negreata, the woman tried to commit suicide in broad daylight. She fell on the stairs down to the basement, so that the height of her fall was bigger. The woman suffered a brain concussion, head trauma, subdural hematoma and other contusions. The incident happened on Lomonosov Street in Telecentru district. The same day, a 20-year old girl tried to commit suicide with a pills overdose. She was hospitalized for detox in the Sfanta Treime Hospital. Two men, aged 47 and 58, died because of heart diseases. The first one suffered a heart attack. Over the last 24 hours, ambulances responded to 724 calls and dealt with 66 trauma cases, 89 viral infections, 16 pneumonias, 3 strokes, 2 heart attacks and 25 births.
