Woman killed cruelly in Falesti district

A 21-year-old man from Hiliuti, Falesti, is accused of killing the mother of the girl to whom he went at night, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the Ministry of the Interior, the tragedy happened on the night of September 22. The man, being under the influence, went to the 22-year-old girl’s home and knocked at the door. The girl’s mother went out and told him to leave. The two started to quarrel and the young man stabbed the woman with a knife for several times. The police arrested the man several hours after he committed the offense. He declared he killed the woman because she pushed him brutally and drove him away. He faces 12 to 20 years in jail or life imprisonment for premeditated murder. Valeria Furtuna, secretary of the Hiliuti mayor’s office, has told Info-Prim Neo that the victim lived together with her retired mother, two daughters aged 22 and 24 and an underage son. The woman worked as a nurse at a hospital in Balti town and raised her children alone. Villagers said that when the tragedy occurred, the women’s daughters weren’t at home. The girl whom the young man looked for was with her boyfriend. She said she does not even know the attacker.
