Woman suspected of complicity in murder of partner

The police of Chisinau's Rascani district, in cooperation with the Transnistrian militia, arrested three persons who are suspected of murdering a man. The crime has been committed in Butuceni village of Rybnitsa district this February. The female partner of the killed man is among the suspects, Info-Prim Neo reports. Adrian Jovmir, the head of the General Police Commissariat's press office, said the 37-year-old man and his partner, both without a permanent place of residence, went to visit a friend. At the friend's place, there was another visitor. After drinking alcohol, the man got into a fight with one of the other two men as he had made advances to his woman. The men aged 24 and 29 hit the attacker with a chair in the head and killed him. Afterward, they and the woman took the body to the periphery of the village and buried it. The two young men have a criminal record. They are investigated by the Transnistrian militia. The man's partner is investigated by the Rascani district police commissariat. If the woman's complicity is proven, she will serve 12 to 20 years or life.
