A woman aged 73 from Cazanestii Noi village of Telenesti district fell into a well located on the periphery of the village on October 25. As she stayed there for a period in the cold, she suffered hypothermia, IPN reports.
According to the Civic Protection and Emergencies Service, the woman was discovered in the morning, when people heard her cries for help. Called immediately to the scene, the rescuers took the woman out of the 12-meter-deep well.
The Service urges caution and recommends to straightaway call 901 in emergencies.
