A man aged 34 from Chisinau fell from a height of four meters when working on a building site on Nicolae Testemitanu St. He suffered a pelvic fracture and bone fractures and was taken to the Chisinau Emergency Medicine Center in a state of traumatic shock, IPN reports, quoting a communiqué of the Center.
The incident happened on June 4. The man was admitted to the reanimatology section for intensive care.
The head of the Chisinau Police Division’s press service Adrian Jovmir said the preliminary investigations showed the man fell from scaffolding when he was installing an elevator. The police and labor inspectors are examining the case. It’s not yet known if the worker had protection equipment or not.
