The representatives of the Government, Parliament, the People’s Assembly and the executive committee of Gagauzia will set up working groups to solve the socioeconomic problems faced by the Gagauz region. Such an agreement was reached by the sides in a meeting held in Comrat on January 20, IPN reports.
According to a communiqué from the Government, the meeting centered on the socioeconomic development of the region and the cooperation between the central and local authorities.
On January 22, Prime Minister Iurie Leanca, accompanied by a group of ministers, will pay a working visit to Comrat.
