Yellow code for high winds

Weather forecasters issued a yellow code warning for strong winds for Wednesday evening and for Thursday, January 26, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the State Hydrometeorology Service, the warning covers the central and southern districts of the country. The north-western wind is expected to intensify to 15-20 meters per second. Earlier, the forecasters announced that it will grow much colder towards the end of this week. After January 27, the temperatures will fall to minus 16 degrees Celsius. On Thursday, snow will fall in most parts of the country, while on Friday only in parts. A layer of ice will form on the roads. The cold weather will persist until the start of February.
