A 20-year-old man was hit by a vehicle when he was crossing the street. The accident happened on Voluntarilor St in Chisinau’s Ciocana district on the afternoon of April 19. The young man was rushed to the hospital with severe brain injury and in a state of post-traumatic shock of the third degree. He died two hour after he was hospitalized, IPN reports.
According to the official website of the National Emergency Medicine Center, another road accident with victims occurred at the intersection of the streets Sfatul Tarii and Alexandru cel Bun, where two cars collided. As a result of the collision, one of the vehicles was projected onto the sidewalk, striking an 18-year-old girl. She suffered a concussion and a head trauma.
A woman aged 27, who was in one of the vehicles, sustained an arm contusion and a forehead wound. Both of the women were taken to the National Emergency Medicine Center.
