The City Hall's sitting started somewhat unusually this morning, June 2. General mayor Dorin Chirtoaca stood at the table surrounded not by the mayors of the municipality's localities, but by a group of students who came to the City Hall to encourage the functionaries and to urge them to eliminate the corruption phenomenon in the municipality, and in the country, Info-Prim Neo reports. A pupil from boarding school 2 from Chisinau, named Lenuta, came to the City Hall to wish Dorin Chirtoaca success and power and to ask the public servants to take care of children, to ivest in their future so that they trust the future. The students said they were unhappy with the conflicts in the City Hall. “We want to ask you to think of the message “No to corruption!” in every though and in every action. The students say this is the only way to have a genuinely European city. In another context, they asked the City Hall to discuss facilities and discounts for students at its next siting. They want to be issued special cards for students, as the Romanian students do. The card offers them lower prices for cinemas, theaters, museums, stores, and transport. Dorin Chirtoaca urged them to transmit the message everywhere so that the Moldovans should be informed about the corruption phenomenon, and not to allow this scourge to get into the state's institutions even more.
