Youths involved in debates on conflict resolution

Debates will be held in Chisinau during August 10-15 involving youths from different parts of Moldova, who will discuss fundamental notions of human rights, culture, peace, civic education, as part of a project implemented by the Ukrainian Youth Association of Moldova “Zlagoda” and titled “Moldovan Youth in Partnership for Peace”. The goal of the project is to increase the role of youths in the process of conflict resolution, Info-Prim Neo reports. The participants in the debates will share their experience, will elaborate proposals to improve the situation concerning the stability of the country and conflict resolution at local, national and international level. Tatiana Slutu, advisor with the Ministry of Education and Youth, wished the participants a constructive dialogue and assured them that the Ministry is very interested in every opinion on the discussed matters. The program will include a rally dedicated to the International Youth Day on Wednesday, August 12. The project is implemented with the support of the European Youth Foundation, the Moldovan Ministry of Education and Youth, and the Bureau for Interethnic Relations, in partnership with the Council of Ethic-Cultural Youth Organizations, the Student Organization of Transnistria ASTRA, and the Comrat-based League of Students and Youth.
