The president of the Party of Socialists (PSRM) Zinaida Grecheanyi will run for MP in single-member constituency No. 1 of Briceni. The candidate was fielded in a meeting against the destructive policy of the so-called pro-European forces that was held on November 3, IPN reports, quoting a press release of the PSRM.
In her speech, Zinaida Grecheanyi said she is convinced that the team of the PSRM will win the elections so as to improve the situation in the country. “We have an ardent wish and possibility to win so as to bring a team of professions who care about what is happening in the country to power. Even while in the opposition, the Socialists have always been near the people and will always help them. I’m proud of my team that consists of fighters. We must unite and we will succeed,” stated the politician.
The meeting involved President Igor Dodon as the informal leader of the PSRM. He noted that four years ago the PSRM passed to the opposition because it didn’t have what to discuss with those who now rule the country and the people can give them a grade in the elections of next February. In a posting on Facebook, Igor Dodon said Zinaida Grecheanyi is a professional and a real patriot.
Zinaida Grecheanyi served as Prime Minister of Moldova, first deputy prime minister, minister of finance, MP and since 2016 has led the Party of Socialists.
