The murder committed in Durlesti town four years ago is investigated by a new working group that is reexamining the evidence, said the deputy head of the General Police Inspectorate Gheorghe Cavcaliuc. At the start of next week, three officers of the National Investigations Inspectorate will go on a trip abroad within the investigation, IPN reports.
Gheorghe Cavcaliuc said the trip abroad is needed because certain investigation measures cannot be taken in Moldova.
On April 1, 2011, two teens, Ilie şi Olga, were found dead in a car parked on a field near a church in Durlesti. They were shot in the head from a hunter’s gun. The police had a number of suspects, including a man who turned out to have died five years before the commission of the crime.
