The municipal councilors decided to organize an extraordinary meeting of the Chisinau Municipal Council (CMC) in two weeks in order to discuss the situation of the public utility SA “Termocom”, IPN reports.
The decision to organize the meeting was taken following a Chisinau Appeals Court decision, of March 18, concerning the designation of the liquidator of SA “Termocom”.
The municipal councilors said the liquidator named by the court didn’t have the right to make an order to dismiss the company’s director Mihail Cernei. He should have only removed him from the administration. The director of “Termocom” is discharged by the CMC, which is the founder of the company.
The councilors expressed their concern about the situation of “Termocom”, describing the steps that led to the bankruptcy of the company as theft of municipal property.
The members of the CMC decided to give a vote of no-confidence to the Legal Division head Diana Gurschi and recommended Mayor of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca to dismiss her.
