The Central Election Commission on Friday authorized the conduct of three opinion polls on voters’ preferences during the electoral period prior to the presidential election and the national constitutional referendum of October 20, 2024, IPN reports.

The surveys will be conducted by “Data Inteligente” SRL on August 15-30, September 3-20 and October 1-14, on a national sample of 1,000 to 1,100 respondents.

The data will be collected by the CATI (Computer Assisted Telephone Interview) method and online, by the CAWI (Computer Assisted Web Interviewing) method. The results of the three surveys will be published immediately after each questioning period is completed.

During the electoral period, any opinion poll on voters’ political preferences can be conducted only if the Central Election Commission is first informed about this.
