Over 737.7 million lei was collected by the Customs Service into the state budget between November 4 and November 10. Since the beginning of the year, the Customs Service has collected over 32.3 billion lei into the state budget, which represents a 107.6% percent fulfilment of the plan, IPN reports.
During November 4-10, individuals introduced goods whose customs value exceeds the nontaxable limit, with payments totaling about 24.1 million lei being collected. This is 3.3% of the total amount gathered for the respective period. The money collected from taxpayers is paid directly into the state budget and redistributed for salaries, infrastructure development and social projects, noted the Customs Service
Also, 11,939 customs declarations were issued last week and there were recorded 72,235 crossings by units of transport. The most transited customs posts remained Leușeni and Sculeni, with 16,831 and 12,585 crossings, respectively.
