Investments in facilitating employment of persons

The National Employment Agency will be allocated about 100 million lei a year for implementing measures to facilitate the employment of persons, IPN reports.

The measures are stipulated in a draft law that was approved by the Cabinet. According to Minister of Health Svetlana Cojocari, these were tailored to meet the needs of different categories of unemployed persons and of the employers.

It is proposed diversifying the professional formation forms for the unemployed by introducing training at the workplace for persons without qualifications. The unemployed persons without work experience, especially the young people, will be able to access professional training and career guidance services.

The bill also provides that the unemployed persons from among those exposed to the risk of social exclusion will get subsidies of 30% of the average official salary for a period of six months. The employers that create jobs or adjust the workplace for persons with disabilities could ask for the compensation of half of the incurred costs.
