Boris Gherasim, Deputy Minister of Transports and Road Infrastructure, told our agency that today, March 21, several tenders took place and others would be organized on Tuesday. Maintenance works will begin after tender winners are announced. “On Wednesday, as it gets warmer outside, we’ll proceed to work. We didn’t stop in winter, but serious works need to be done at higher temperatures, otherwise we simply waste materials”, Boris Gherasim said. According to him, it will take two months to make national roads trafficable. 788 million lei have been allotted from the Traffic Fund for road maintenance.
