Journalist Natalia Morari filed to the Central Electoral Commission on Sunday to register her initiative group, which if successful, will start collecting signatures across the country to support her presidential bid.

The Commission now has three days to decide on the registration.

Since the application period started, the CEC has received a total of 14 requests from presidential endorsement groups, with nine of them already cleared for signature collection.

The application period for the registration of initiative groups will last until August 31 inclusive.
