State secretary of the Ministry of Finance Olga Golban was named director of the State Tax Service. The resignation from the position held at the Ministry and the new appointment were approved by the Cabinet on Wednesday, IPN reports.

Olga Golban was appointed state secretary of the Ministry of Finance in March 2023. Since 2007, she had worked as a senior tax inspector at the Chisinau Tax Inspectorate and from 2010 to 2023 – at the State Tax Service, serving also as division head.

The position of director of the State Tax Service remained vacant after Petru Rotaru was named Minister of Finance.
