Part of regular flights to be resumed after May 15

After May 15, if the state of emergency in Moldova is not extended, regular flights will start again to be operated, but not all of them. The flights will be fully resumed when all the states lift the restrictions imposed due to the pandemic, President Igor Dodon stated in the program “President Responds”.

“If the restrictions in a given country are lifted, we will liberalize the flights to that country. If not, we will provide more charter flights to that country so that the people could fly”, IPN quoted President Dodon as saying.

Air traffic was suspended when the state of emergency was declared in Moldova, on March 17. Charter flights are operated with the approval of the Commission for Exceptional Situations.
