The services of the Public Services Agency can be paid by bank card. It is the result of a modernization project through which over 780 POS terminals were installed in the Agency’s multifunctional centers.
According to the Agency, the implementation of the electronic payment system brings a number of benefits: the speed and efficiency of the process at the counter; security of transactions, and elimination of the need to use cash or stand in line at commercial banks.
With the help of POS (Point of Sale) terminals, citizens can make secure payments without having to carry cash.
The Public Services Agency noted that "the initiative underlines the PSA’s commitment to modernize the process of providing public services and to meet the diversified needs of users, and the new payment system marks an important stage in the process of digitizing public services in Moldova, offering citizens increased convenience and accessibility."
The project was carried out in cooperation with the e-Governance Agency.
