Project to support digital transformation of companies that hired Ukrainians

Moldovan companies that hired Ukrainian citizens will be supported in the digital transformation process and in the implementation of digital products and services to increase their productivity. A project in this regard was launched by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Thursday, IPN reports

According to the president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sergiu Harea, the launched project comes to attract the Ukrainian citizens in Moldova, those who started a business or got employed at a company.

The launched project will open a grant program for companies that hired Ukrainians. The money will be used to modernize digital platforms, increase visibility and access to information, secure information systems for the benefit of the business community.

According to the National Employment Agency, about 1,300 Ukrainian citizens, mostly women, were employed by companies in Moldova.

The initiative to support the digital transformation of companies that employed Ukrainian citizens is part of the “Digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises in Eastern Partnership countries” project that is funded by the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and is implemented by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ).
