The leader of the political party Our Party Renato Usatyi said that he decided to become involved in the October 20 presidential election not only in order to defeat Maia Sandu, but also to destroy the system built in Moldova over the past 30 years. “My major goal in politics is that I want to live at home and I don’t care who governs us and how,” the politician said in his live show “Power is in the Truth,” IPN reports.

The politician noted that the dissolution of Parliament and the organization of snap elections will be his first actions as President of the Republic of Moldova. He is convinced that the dictatorship of order in the interests of the state and the dictatorship of responsibility towards the citizens will help to get the country out of the crisis.

The documents required for the registration of initiative groups to support candidates for the office of President of the Republic of Moldova can be submitted during August 21-31.

Renato Usatyi also ran in the 2020 presidential election. At that time, he accumulated 16.9% of the vote.
