100,000 flu shots arrive in Moldova
The consignment of 100,000 influenza vaccine doses bought by the National Public Health Center (CNAM) to prevent an epidemic of seasonal flu has arrived according to schedule, Info-Prim Neo learned from a CNAM press release.
The vaccine was bought for 49 lei a dose (0.5 ml). Overall the CNAM paid 4.9 million lei for this consignment of French vaccine.
The shots will be administered to the groups deemed at a higher risk of catching the flu, including health professionals, customs officers, institutionalized children and persons in nursing homes.
