The owners of realty can benefit from a reduction of 15% on the property tax if this is paid by June 30 this year. According to the Local Taxes Collection Division of the Chisinau Municipal Council, the tax can be paid at banks or post offices, IPN reports.

In accordance with the Tax Code, the property tax can be also paid in two equal installments by August 15 and October 15, 2016.

If the property tax is not paid on time, the taxpayers are liable to a penalty of 0.07% for each overdue day.
