A number of 134 persons illegally obtained driver’s licenses from 15 private and state-run driving businesses in 2012-2013, IPN reports.
According to the National Investigations Inspectorate, it was established that the managers of the businesses declared that they trained persons who in reality didn’t attend the courses. Some of these persons were even abroad when the courses were given. When the courses were over, the persons were included in the reports on the taken driving exams and were issued with driver’s licenses.
The National Investigations Inspectorate said criminal cases were started both against persons who benefited from the illegal services and against the business managers. Other driving schools are now under investigation.
