33-year-old dies in fire
A man aged 33 was killed in a fire caused by a burning cigarette in Nisporeni town on October 10. The relatives found him dead in his bed that was destroyed by flames, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service.
The same day, a 19-year-old man was rescued from a fire that happened in a house in Selistea-Noua village of Calarasi district. The fire that was caused by a faulty stove damaged a part of the house's roof.
Another fire broke out in the apartment of a 57-year-old invalid, situated on Zelinschi St in Chisinau. The man was unhurt, but the fire damaged a part of the objects in his home. The cause of fire is not yet known.
The 11 fires that occurred in Moldova on October 10 resulted in one death.
