A number of 366 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Moldova on June 12 after doing 1,404 primary tests. Twenty-one of those confirmed with the virus are healthcare workers, IPN reports, quoting the Ministry of Health.

Currently, 22 of the 344 patients who are in a serous state in the hospital are on a ventilator.

Ten infected persons died today, taking the death toll from COVID-19 to 385.

The Ministry calls on the population to obey the protection measures and maintain social distancing, wash the hands as often as possible, avoid crowdedness and wear masks in public transport and in other closed places. On first symptoms of disease, such as fever, coughing and rhinorrhea, one should call the family doctor or the 112 emergency service.

The novel coronavirus was detected in over 11,000 cases in Moldova so far.
