The police arrested a man who transported goods from the Transnistrian region to the right side of the Nistru River by avoiding the internal checkpoints. As a result of a check, 500 kg of slated fish without documents of origin were found in the truck, IPN reports.
The merchandise was estimated at 20,000 lei.
The man faces a fine of 3,000 lei and will have his goods confiscated.
