A minibus running on a route from Chisinau to Geamana village of Anenii Noi district struck an old man on Dacia Blvd., not far from a farmers market. The 78-year-old man was hospitalized in a serious condition. No occupant of the minibus was hurt. Aurelia Mija, PR inspector of the Traffic Police Division, has told Info-Prim Neo that the accident happened on February 3 at about 6pm. The man tried to cross the street not far from a crosswalk. According to the police, the minibus wasn’t speeding. The same day, a 10-year-old girl was struck by a Nissan car driven by a woman aged 32 in Cimislia town. She suffered a cranial-cerebral trauma and a number of minor injuries. The police said the girl appeared unexpectedly from behind a parked car and the driver could not avoid the collision.
